Having been based in London for almost 10 years we have had the opportunity to travel quite extensively. The accommodation we have stayed in has been as varied as our destinations.

On our most recent return home we took a nostalgic trip to the Darling Downs and based ourselves in Toowoomba for a short break.

We stayed at the Highlander Motor Inn and took an executive room. It was spotless, had a great bed, a BIG screen TV and even a spa! It was just so relaxing, as we’re no longer used to driving “Australian distances”. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

The managment went out of there way to make us welcome and tended to our every request and even went far and beyond to make our stay the most enjoyable comforting and relaxing hoilday ever. We highly recommend staying here for famalies, group bookings and singles. The management are the nicest people you would ever meet and they just made our 8 night stay perfect. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and you have everything you need for an extended stay away from home. We will return when we are back in Toowoomba again and thats saying something as we have stayed at alot of hotels/motels around Australia , you normally have something to complain about but not here not one bad word, this is one of the best out there. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!

I was the organiser of accommodation for a group of 70 people who were to stay at this motel from 09 to 16 May 2009. We have stayed in all different types of Motels in QLD, NSW and Victoria in Australia over the last 15 years. The Management of this Motel were absolutely excellent and were the best we have had in all these years. The rooms were large and spotless and the rest of the Motel staff were quiet, unobtrusive but very efficient in performing their work. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone staying in Toowoomba.
